We all have our gifts. Some of us are athletes, some of us are great cooks, some are great listeners. I wonder how many of us have actually thought of these gifts as exceptional or noteworthy.
This is something that I find fascinating when contemplating life. If each person would realise one of their gifts and develop it through volunteering, imagine what an amazing place we would live in. While talking to David, I realised that this is exactly what he has done. From an early age, he has excelled in sports, and combining the discipline he’s learned from that with his love for story-telling, he has been able to build not just a career as an actor, but also as the owner of a successful production company. The next step for him is to build an NGO. Together, David and Logan will be using their charms to raise funds and food in aid of South African Animal Welfares. I can not wait to see this project take shape! We will do our best to keep you updated on the development.
During lockdown we’ve also been contacted by some aspiring writers. How wonderful is that! Bryony van Niekerk has taken the time to give us her view on what to expect from Dog Training. This is a very real and relatable article and we would love to hear your feedback on it, so please give us a shout. Our contact details are at the bottom of the page. Thank you for taking the time to write this article Bryony, we hope to see a lot of great work coming from your pen.
Thank you to everyone who has made contact with us during the last few months, asking where they can volunteer. My heart is full knowing that we have such a caring community. To the rest of our readers, we would love to hear more from you and the projects happening in your community. Please don’t be shy 🙂
Until next time!
In an effort to make sure that everyone can get their hands on a hard copy of our magazine, we have introduced our new direct mailing program. Please note that the charge for the magazine will be allocated to the postage cost of the magazine and not the magazine itself. Thank you for choosing Prints with a Purpose!
